We condition our soil for the whole year before planting out garlic. This allows us to remove most competing weeds before planting, as well as feeding the soil to support healthy plants. Our garlic is sorted for size and quality before planting, and most of our hardneck varieties are to planted from last years bulbils. All our garlic is weeded by hand to reduce damage, and give several chances to remove any poor quality garlic.

*Note* Due to a move of the farmstead to a new location we began growing garlic in multiple places to be sure to keep a supply. Our other grower is based 40 minutes drive from us and has been doing an astounding job with his garlic.

We are building up our selection of varieties again, and we hope to uprate pictures and descriptions as the harvest begins.
